1. General description
The 74HC151-Q100; 74HCT151-Q100 are 8-bit multiplexer with eight binary inputs (I0 to
I7), three select inputs (S0 to S2) and an enable input (E). One o f the eight bina ry input s is
selected by the select input s and routed to th e complement ary output s (Y an d Y). A HIGH
on E forces the output Y LOW and output Y HIGH. Input s also include clamp diodes. This
enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of
VCC.
This product has been qualified to the Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) standard
Q100 (Grade 1) and is suitable for use in automotive applications.

damage to the device. Limiting values are stress ratings only and (proper)
operation of the device at these or any other conditions above those given in
the Recommended operating conditions section (if present) or the
Characteristics sections of this document is not warranted. Constant or
repeated exposure to limiting values will permanent ly and irreversibly affect
the quality and reliability of the device.
